Ok, as mentioned previously, when performing the following step (on a
netbooted VS3100/M76 in single user mode):
# disklabel -R -r sd0 /sd0-label
Where /sd0-label was created with:
# disklabel sd0 > /sd0-label
and appropriately edited to add additional partitions (it looks identical
to a previous posting of this label for an RZ24), we get the following
kernel panic under v1.3 #1:
# disklabel -R -r sd0 /sd0-label
sd0: no disk label

Now, trying to put a boot block on the disk (if I understand what I am doing):
# dd if=/usr/mdec/raboot of=/dev/sd0c
sd0: no disk label

Does not help, in that the panic still occurs.
Any advice?
