I have tried a number of kernels from 1.2G generic to the June 20
Multivac kernel. Is there a problem using 'rom()/netbsd' in the
VS3100-M76-SPX? I tried doing a 'b /3 dka0' and a 'rom()/netbsd'. All I
got was this:
>>> b 3 dka0
83 BOOT SYS
-DKA0
howto 0x3, bdev 0x2a, booting...done. (33180+22308)
>> NetBSD/vax boot [980611 21:01] <<
: rom()/netbsd
83 BOOT SYS <---------- what is causing this?
DKA0
{same boot message as above}
: /netbsd <------ the boot program put this in on its own
sdopen: {yada,yada,yada, 48's of death, etc}
What causes the system to say 'to hell with you, I'm rebooting and
using the alleged mangled code and AAAAAARGHH'? Is there a boot program
that does not used this alleged mangled code?
HELP!
