Ok, I've opened the box, and something looks a bit odd to me -- there is
not an even number of memory modules in the system. The slot layout is
as follows:
+---Front----------------------------------------+-------------+
| | |
| XXXXFULL-SIMM-SLOTXXX XXXEMPTY-SIMM-SLOTXXX | POWER |
| XXXXFULL-SIMM-SLOTXXX XXXEMPTY-SIMM-SLOTXXX | SUPPLY |
| XXXXFULL-SIMM-SLOTXXX XXXEMPTY-SIMM-SLOTXXX | |
| XXXEMPTY-SIMM-SLOTXXX XXXEMPTY-SIMM-SLOTXXX | |

This seems suspect... shouldn't the simm installation be symmetrical?
Also, what sort of simms do I need? Anyone have any spares floating
around?
Yet another tidbit... here's the TEST 50 output from the memory section:
?? MEM 000C.0200
00C00000 00000000 00020002 10012440 AAAAAAAA AAAAAAAA AAA5AAAA
AAAAAAAA
Is this bad?
Thanks again for all your help,
Chris.
