Well, I've finally gotten the time to set up my linux box as a boot
server and I have gotten an AUI hub so I can hook the vax up to it. I
have finally gotten to the moment of truth but here is what I get..
-----------------------------
>>>b/100 esa0
2..Bootfile: mopboot
?41 DEVASSIGN, ESA0
?06 HLT INST
PC = 0000101A
Failure.
-----------------------------
(sigh) All the bootup tests complete sucessfully (23 down to 3) with no
errors reported so I am not suspecting the ethernet card (DELQA) My
only guess is that the ethernet device name is something different. I
have tried some other device names experimentally and get the exact same
error.
Any ideas?
