Hello,

I managed to netboot my VAXstation somewhat. I followed all the
netbooting instructions, and this is what I get on the VS console:

-ESA0
>> NetBSD/vax boot [Dec 7 1998 21:06:45] <<
>> Press any key to abort autoboot 0
> boot
Trying BOOTPARAMS
boot: client IP address: 192.168.1.30
boot: client name: vax
root addr=192.168.1.25 path=/export/vax/root
Command failed: Unknown error: code 60
> boot
Command failed: Unknown error: code 60
...

My syslog shows that it has mounted it's root:

Jul 28 20:03:43 nebuchadnezzar mountd[131]: NFS mount of
/export/vax/root attempted from 192.168.1.30
Jul 28 20:03:43 nebuchadnezzar mountd[131]: /export/vax/root has been
mounted by 192.168.1.30

Has anyone else encountered problems such as these? Help would be
appreciated. :) BTW, this time I'm using a Slackware4.0 system to
netboot, still no luck with my RedHat one.

  Thanks.
