  Related to this, where could I get myself a copy of 1.4.1 sources, or
the VERY latest sources?  I want to do the same thing that you did,
since I like the idea of an autonomous system a lot more than
netbooting it.

  Also, how long does a kernel compile take?  I'm assuming it's more a
"go grab a 7 course meal" than "go get a pizza" compile. ;>  I'd just
like to know what I'm in for.
