Works hunkey dorey for me :)

As you can see, that's a 2gb drive. I've also had a 4gb drive on there.
The disk is partitioned as follows:
mod70# df
Filesystem 1K-blocks Used Avail Capacity Mounted on
/dev/sd0a 58473 20476 35073 36% /
/dev/sd0h 580686 154300 397351 27% /usr
/dev/sd0d 16159 2648 12703 17% /tmp
/dev/sd0e 148543 1 141114 0% /work
/dev/sd0f 1178063 137632 981527 12% /ravine
Now, that /ravine is well over the 1gb mark. And I have indeed done
disk checks of the entire disk using /dev/sd0c. So, from my practical
experience, there are no limitations in the 1-4gb range.
And just for TMI, this is a workhorse CONSTANTLY doing world builds and
releases. This machine has not crashed since brought up with the 1.4.1
with the new SCSI code.
mod70# uptime
3:23AM up 20 days, 20:48, 2 users, load averages: 1.64, 1.40, 1.34
And, for anyone who cares, this machine does a decent SCSI thruput:
(I stopped all the current jobs to get this, as it was busy like the uptime says)
mod70# dd if=/dev/rsd0c bs=512k count=100 of=/dev/null
100+0 records in
100+0 records out
52428800 bytes transferred in 53 secs (989222 bytes/sec)
Hopefully helping,
