I'm guessing that's also Istvan's problem. These disks can be set up
to spin up automatically at power-on. On the RZ57, it's a jumper on
the board, and if I remember correctly, it's all the way over in one
corner of it, and not one of the regular configuration jumpers, but
rather a pair of pins coming out of the circuit board and being bent
90 degrees to point "forward". I can't picture it very clearly in my
head, though -- it's been years since the last time I saw an RZ57. I
*do* know that I've had to enable automatic spin-up myself on these
disks in order to get them to work with PCs.
