Any bootable device on the BI should work, devices have their own boot 
roms and whatnot, and you just ask a device 'hey you, boot!' and if the 
device can, it tries. if it can't , like say it's a DMB32 or something, 
then it won't. but most bootable disk controllers, network interfaces, 
and so on, they should all be capable of booting. they know how to load 
or boot something from their own medium, but once that thing they start 
booting is running, it's up to the programmer from there on in. you could 
at least get a minimal program running, though, from almost any device. 
once it loads , though... so i think NetBSD only has support for MSCP 
interfaces and bootabel ethernet interfaces. NetBSD doesnt support CI 
yet, so booting from a cluster over CI isn't an option at this point.
