The chances are that Ultrix was never supported on this box. Ultrix
support for the later VAXstations (such as the VAXstation 4000
series for example) was spotty to non-existent.
If you have the SPD for the relevant version of Ultrix you
could read it to see whether it should support this box.
Until someone suggests that Ultrix should run, I would assume

At least with NetBSD you have the sources and you can
fix it - assuming you can find the relevant technical
info. As I said before, all I have that I can find is
a service guide.
