Ok, well I replaced the boot floppy 1.4.2 kernel with the 1.4L SCSIDMA
kernel.  I now do not get the root device error, and things are WAY faster.

Looks like the 1.4.2 install stuff, both the .iso CD image and the boot
floppy need a little touch up.
