AFAIK, the part numbers for the 3100 memory boards are:
MS42-AB 4MB
MS42-BA 12MB
MS42-CA 16MB
The 16MB card can take one of the smaller cards as a daughter card to give a
maximum capacity of 32MB.
I fitted a 12MB card in my 3100/10e and it works fine, no need to change any
jumpers.
