First of all...the VAX 8800 (which is two 8700 CPU sets in one box)
isn't all BI. Its I/O bus is BI, but the processor itself is about a
dozen VERY LARGE boards in a processor-specific backplane.
As you may recall, I have an 8700 here in the warehouse. Next time
you're in the area, we can wheel it out and go over its guts. It's a
beautiful piece of engineering.
