Hi Folks,

I have a MicroVax 3100 Model 90 (KA50-A) (128MB RAM, TLZ06, RRD43, 3x =
RZ26)

I would really love to get NetBSD running on this machine! Unfortunatelt =
all my attempts to date have failed :( Has anyone else had any success =
with this type of machine? Is it even supported?

So far I have tried...

1) netbooting 1.5.1_BETA2. I can get to the boot prompt but when it =
tries to load the kernel it crashes out. Is this a problme with >16mb =
RAM and MOP?

2) Upgrading my Vaxstation 3100 1.5 to 1.5.1_BETA2 and then booting the =
1.5.1_BETA2 disk from the MV3100. But it won't even bring up the initial =
boot prompt that I can get via net booting.

3) Net booting to the boot prompt and then trying something like =
sd(0,1,1,0)netbsd. Which doesn't work either... Am I correct that the =
syntax is sd scsi disk (a,c,d,p) a - adapter, c - controller, d - disk, =
p - partition?

Any ideas on where I can go from here?

Regards,
Ivan
