yup. should be a revision that has the nice monitor, too. i have one
old ka650 that has a uvII style monitor..

minor revision. it shoudlnt matter

this is an SDI controller. This is for sdi disks, those with names RAxx. 
its one controller, just two boards for all the circuitry. Unless you have
SDI disks, you may as well take these out, they will just generate heat
otherwise..

you dont need to remove it, unless you want to put it in a rack or 
something. justtake off the bulkhead panel, and youll get to the 
cardcage.
