My dad has an old laptop which had 2 inch floppies.  They were 720KB,
basically just like a 3.5 inch 1.44MB floppy but with half the surface
area and thus half the capacity.  Cute little things, but too small
(physically) for people to take seriously as floppies at the time
(they looked like little toy floppies, and would probably be very easy
to misplace...)
