When I try to boot all I get is:

and the machine hangs. So VMB has finished its work and the machine
hangs somewhere at the end of xxboot or the beginning of /boot. (At
least I have that impression from my limited knowledge.)
BTW: The switch on the back of the MV3100m95 does not change the console
from 3 to 0 if it is switched down. It just disables break.
