There's an "audio player" in VMS 7.2 motif package, and it expects .AUD fil=
es,
but I'm not sure what it can do, and there's no info about it. Win 3.1
soundrec.exe was able to save waveforms in 4bit if one specified - AFAIR - =
.aud
extension, but that's possibly ADPCM or anything :)
