Hi Debee,

To answer your origional question, yes the official ISOs boot on VAX. I 
have just downloaded the NetBSD 2.1 VAXCD.ISO and burned it (on 
NetBSD/i386 using cdrecord), it  boots fine on my 3100/M76.
