I'm seeing a similar hang when I try Matt's kernel on my 3100/95, I've
included the console output below.

I tried that but my box says UNKNOWN SYMBOL for ksp and is, the rest of
the output is included below. I'm willing to boot test kernels and
report the results if it will help track down the hang.
