Summary of VAX port status

 Okay, I read through the 75 messages about the status of NetBSD/vax
including the obligatory wrangling about how the code is bloated etc.

 My takeaway (please correct me where I'm wrong):

 1) native builds on 4.0.1 are broken
 2) native builds on current... ??
 3) native builds of pkgsrc are broken
 4) pkgsrc can't be crosscompiled.

 Is all that right?  Is it impossible for me to get a working bash shell on VAX?
