5.0_BETA panics on 4000/500A
All the recent activity on this list prompted me to give 5.0 a try on my
4000/500A. I used the daily build from
NetBSD-daily/netbsd-5/200901080000Z and the install went through with no
problems. However, when I boot from the installed kernel, it panics when
it gets to my DESQA card (details below). One difference I can see
between the INSTALL kernel and the GENERIC kernel is that the install
kernel detected the DESQA as 'qe0' whereas the generic kernel detects it
as 'qt0'. Just for info, the card worked fine as 'qt0' under both 3.1
and 4.0.
