Boot from non zero LUN?
Hi,
Just curious - does anyone know how I might boot from a SCSI device with a
non-zero LUN? I got a SCSI card adapter which shows different slots as
different LUNs:
sd1 at scsibus0 target 4 lun 0: <SCSI, PCCARD Flash, 1.28> disk removable
sd1: 30592 MB, 16383 cyl, 15 head, 63 sec, 512 bytes/sect x 62652416 sectors
sd2 at scsibus0 target 4 lun 1: <SCSI, Compact Flash, 1.28> disk removable
sd2: drive offline
sd3 at scsibus0 target 4 lun 2: <SCSI, SmartMedia, 1.28> disk removable
sd3: drive offline
sd4 at scsibus0 target 4 lun 3: <SCSI, Secure Digital, 1.28> disk removable
sd4: drive offline
sd5 at scsibus0 target 4 lun 4: <SCSI, Memory Stick, 1.28> disk removable
sd5: drive offline
While the CF card that's currently in there is LUN 0 and would boot fine,
I'd really prefer to use and boot from an SD card at LUN 2 on my 4000/VLC.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
John Klos
