If all you want is /boot, you should be able to complile this native.
Just "cd /usr/src/sys/arch/vax/boot/ && make dependall" may be all you
need. For a non-native build, build.sh tools, then "nbmake-vax obj
dependall" in that directory.

Port-vax was reverted to an older version of gcc because of this and
similar problems.
