GCC status

Hello,

what are the plans for GCC for VAX in NetBSD 7.0? Is there any effort to switch 
to GCC 4.5 (or maybe to an even newer GCC)?

i tried to compile the toolchain with HAVE_GCC=45 and got this error ... 
(hostsystem is NetBSD VAX 6.99.30)

As i understand the build process should work, but the resulting compiler 
would create broken executables.
