NetBSD/vax pkgsrc

Hi All,
just set up a new system, installed NetBSD9.0 on it from the ISO image,
got src, xsrc, pkgsrc from CVS.

Thought to try, the dhrystone is the smallest package out there, but it
failed to compile.

Anything obvious I forgot to set up?
