I was able to get the thick connector working on my M76 but I am not able
to get past the MOP boot.  I have not netboot NetBSD in 20 years and I
am not able to see what dumb thing I must be doing.

On the serving side, I do see the VAX contact MOPD:

but on the VAX I do not see the boot logo as in your example. Just a
few blank lines, then after a very short pause, back to the boot prompt.
