Could you try with a kernel from an official Xen build ? This seems to be
a snapshot of the unstable tree, but I don't know which date.

That's not an issue. If first looks in /dev and then use it as a number :)

It seems to crash early; maybe on the first page table update. This will
happens if xen.gz is compiled with debug turned on.
