Das geht auf meiner Kiste (5.1_RC3) nicht:

ifconfig re0 inet6 2a01:4f8:120:8086::2 prefixlen 59
ifconfig: SIOCAIFADDR_IN6: Invalid argument

Aber 'ifconfig re0 inet6 2a01:4f8:120:8086::2 prefixlen 64' geht.
Wie sehen deine ip settings in sysctl.conf aus?
Was hast du in rc.conf?
