Correct, and it was a pain in the rear to debug since the console comes
up in graphics mode instead of plain old text mode.

ISTR it being something like 2MB, which is probably not sufficient these
days. ;-)

I had a stab at it, to the point where I had a standalone PIO-mode driver
for the Tulip Ethernet controller. Not sure if I still have the code
around since I no longer use the T1500. If anyone wants it, speak up.
