[This isn't specific to netpgp, I had the same discussion over
one of the other libraries that we have - agc]
Once again, we come down to having to modify Makefiles for the sole
benefit of Sun2s. So I'll ask again - does anyone have one any more?
the benefit is for static userland. it just happens that sun2
only supports that, but the sun2 part is irrelevant.
