mdsetimage started off as BSD licenced, and I convinced the author to
allow to be dual licenced (or changed to GPL2 - I don't recall) so that
it could use libbfd and then used as a cross-build tool. I then wrote a
new dbsym based on mdsetimage.
If they were converted to use libelf, mdsetimage is already clear to
use a BSD licence and if dbsym isn't BSD licenced I obviously have no
problem re-licencing it :-)
