I agree with this and Iain's earlier comment about using a wording such as
"[...] has at least the following members" (this is usually the wording used
in the standards as well).

But we are here talking about structures, objects, or types usually defined
already by the C language (or ISO) itself. These are expected to change
once or twice in decade (if even that), unlike some NetBSD specific header
or structure that may change at will (even though that too is a bad practice).
And to use mktime(3), you must know the "tm" structure.
