I've got few more reports and I will keep iterating over them and fixing appropriately. The next one on my list is grep(1) as it affects every user: http://www.netbsd.org/~kamil/mksanitizer-reports/0003-grep-_obstack_begin.txt For the context, UBSan is still able to catch defined unsigned overflow issues (with an additional command line argument) as these operations are rather rarely used deliberately in C. It can catch violation of compiler specific features like passing NULL to a function with specified nonnull arguments.
