- KNF.
- check return call of several important system calls
- clean up some more cruft.
- support "uucpd -l" for extra (syslog(3)) logging.
- add a man page for uucpd.  did it really arrive in 4.2BSD as the code
  indicates?  that's what `HISTORY' says...
