Ok, but I am NOT going to remove the "Ethernet" etc. bits from the display,
because I think it's important to include the link type there (for the
reasons I stated previously).  Those aren't settable w/ the "media" keyword,
though... they will be set with the "linktype" keyword.

Also, there is the issue of displaying media instance... sigh.
