   Enable the code that gets our gateway+netmask from the
   bootparam server using the "gateway" pseudo file.
   (Compatible with sys/lib/libsa/dev_net.c)


does this mean i'll have random hangs when i don't have a "gateway"
entry again?  what, exactly, happens when this entry is missing now?
