Huh?

Do share/doc entries primary source go in src/share? When they have
an associated program, no.

Do man pages src go in src/share? In some cases, and that is, in my
opinion, universally broken.

Example sources (and manual pages and other documentation) should go
wherever the program sources go.

They are installed.
