Log Message:
Make it compile with WAUDIT=2 and FORMAT_AUDIT set. Based on tips
by Bill Sommerfeld.
Also, don't change code that's not in our path (replacing vnprintf
with vsnprintf in !HAVE_VSNPRINTF case).
