I find this consistent with our policy of e.g. empty inetd.conf.
It's not like Sendmail is actually 'configured' out of the box
anyway.
Yeah, it does affect local mail (as in cron jobs) on minimally
configured systems. Maybe it would be a good idea to have a default
configuration for local mail only, but I don't think either Sendmail
or Postfix should be it.
