I carefully went over the diffs I applied, and I merged the ones
that seemed to be missing from 5.3. If people did a better job of
submitting stuff back to fsf, this would not have taken me two days
to do. Finally, the diffs are there to be seen by the individual
port-masters and they should decide which they should ship to FSF
and which they should undo.
