Actually, even with version bumps, I try to keep fields at the same
offset to help binary compatibility.
`struct proc' should be fine to change internally these days. anything
that looks at processes uses the sysctl api's that Just Work... i'm
still espcially happy that a 32bit ps(1) works on 64bit systems.
of course, changing it does require a kernel bump, but riding the next
one is a good idea.
