All above is fine.

This can be a problem: DiskOnChip is not supported and guess never
will be due to weird politics of M-Systems folks. So if you need to
access some flash better get a board with Compact Flash socket.

I'm running NetBSD on 8Mb Compact Flash card and it works fine. But
once again: DiskOnChip is not supported.
