I'm trying to install NetBSD 0.9 for the first time. I'm having
trouble booting off the kc-aha floppy. It starts up OK, but after
it identifies all the devices on the system, it goes into a loop:
.
.
.
aha0: bus speed 200ns
cmd fail
abort failed in wait
cmd fail
abort failed in wait
.
.
. etc, repeating the last two lines every few seconds.
I've got a 486DX2 66Mhz system (7 EISA slots, one VLB), 16Meg DRAM,
256K cache, an Adaptec 1542CF SCSI controller and a 1.748Gig
(formatted)
Micropolis disk.
All ideas/suggestions greatly appreciated!
