Hello everybody:
When I was using the NetBSD/Mac Install Utility 1.1 to install the
archives, the program was giving me this information:
_______________________
Partition read, SCSI ID=0
Mounting partition `A' as /
Choose file(s) to unpack
bad checksum in tar header -34580
Probably not a valid tar file
Try usign the mini-shell and cpin or cpout
Finished extracting base 121
Unexpected end of file -- not a valid tar archive
_______________________
And this information was the same with the net121, sec121, and all the
other archives.
Why is that? Is it may be that I download the archive in ascii and not in
binary?
Besides that, when I try to use the NetBSD/Mac68k Booter to boot the
machine, the program gave me this information:
_______________________
Booting...File "netbsd" not found.
Could not open kernel "(0,?)netbsd"
********* Boot Stopped *********
_______________________
So I tried to change the name of the kernel to netbsd121 and reconfigure
the "Booting...".
Who knows what happened?
Is it may be that the "NetBSD/Mac Install Utility 1.1" did not install
"netbsd121" and that's why that "NetBSD/Mac68k Booter" did not find the
"netbsd"?
Thank you for your help.
