Add to your list my current favorite:

	o If during installation a site.tar.gz (or tgz, or whatever
	  we're using) exists, unpack that _last_ after all the other
	  sets have completed.

That will really make it simple to drop in a custom CD (or ftp)
install for a group of machines.
