It's also a good way for newbies who want to learn what steps are required to
build a machine to see how the installer did what it did.

My thoughts on it were that it would be an interesting way to build a rescue
floppy.  Machine gets toasted, you just rerun the script and restore.

Mostly however.. once I added logging.. scripting was only a few extra lines of
code.  Why not?
