Hi,

I know probably not enough about inodes, but I thought I'd start
this question here, and then move on to another list if necessary.
I just install a new system from a 1.6.2 ISO image. Then I went
to download src and pkgsrc, and, well ...

cwr@$uname -a
NetBSD 1.6.2 NetBSD 1.6.2 (GENERIC) #0: Tue Feb 10 21:53:10 UTC 2004 autobuild@tgm.netbsd.org:/autobuild/netbsd-1-6-PATCH002/i386/OBJ/autobuild/netbsd-1-6-PATCH002/src/sys/arch/i386/compile/GENERIC i386
cwr@$df -i
Filesystem 1K-blocks Used Avail Capacity iused ifree %iused Mounted on
/dev/wd0a 401943 218414 163431 57% 101118 0 100% /
/dev/wd0e 8527716 881245 7220085 10% 168870 1961816 7% /usr

I searched the archives and can't find relating to inode problems
with 1.6.2 on i386. Is 101118 a sufficient/right number for / ?
Should I have specified something other than the defaults during
sysinstall? Or is the 101118 number probably fine, and I have
some other problem?

I considered a lot of stuff being left around in /tmp, but

cwr@$ls /tmp
cwr@$

I'd appreciate any suggestions. Of course, if more information
(e.g., dmesg) is required, I'm happy to provide it.

TIA,
Chris
