This list is for technical discussion, and hopefully, RATIONAL
technical discussion.  This thread is getting tiresome.

David, you've made your point.  Some people don't value things
the same way you do, (i.e. optimization trade-offs) and that
seems to really bother you.  The fact that it bothers you is
not our problem.
