PCMCIA is, or hopefully will be, an mi thing.

What's the _right_ way to solve this?  Plug-and-p[rl]ay?  Is that
doable without doing ISA PnP, or at least wedging ISA-style PnP into
the MI chip-level drivers for devices that  have PCMCIA front-ends?
